Project 7- Updated version

It's pretty much the same song I just added some bass to it, I found the bass in one of the preset settings in the slayer. During the parts where it gets fast I added the intro but in bass form to go under it, just to give it a more full sound.

Project 7

Frequency modulation-I started by making the default setting and fiddling with the FXs and whatnot until I found a sound that was right for me. I made two different sound, one of for one part of my song and the other was for another part of the song. As for the song itself, I made a very guitar orientated riff and used it as the main riff, and then for the second riff I just altered the first riff a little bit. The drums are fast and as usual unnessesary but I feel like they fit very well. The intro has drums inspired by Donkey Kong because it has a jungle feel to it. This song was inspired by Bryan Parrott because it's the most punkish song I've made. Happy holidays.

Project 6

Sorry for the late comment about this. I made the custom sytris from the default setting and played around with the lfo and all that good stuff that we were taught about. As for the loop, again it was simplistic and only consists of a few different notes along with a drum beat that isn't flashy but fits with the recording. I recorded it using the keyboard.

Project 6

So far I have my sound all made, it sounds all spacey and whatnot after I fiddled with the synth for a little bit. I know the sound I want and I've started writing it, i'm going for a more laid back approach this time, no impossible drum fills or out of control sounding riffs, just a short relaxed sound, I'll definately have the song done by next class.

Project 5

I'm not quite done with proect five but I've just about picked my sound I want to use from the Sytrus devise, after playing around with some knobs and dials I think I just about have what I need, now I just have to brainstorm some ideas for a song, and then pick some drums to go along with it. My sound consists of some reverb, I was gonna have a delay before the reverb but I decided against it.

project 4

In project 4 I used the fruity effect and the X L effect. I started out with a riff I thought was cool that I found using the riff machine, the intro just used single hits to the snare because I wanted a song with just a simple drum beat intro that focused on the riff. The next part had the same riff but i added some double bass because I love death metal and wanted to incorporate them i, however the double bass drums did seem to get a little lost in the mixing but i thought it still sounded cool with the wavy effect. I didn't know how to transfer to the next part so I just made a fill that I thought sounded pretty cool which lead into the slower part. During the slow part I just used kick and snare because it just felt right for the riff. The X L was used in the second part of the song and the fruity was in the first. And of course I ended with a fade out.
